The Municipal Museum of Jumilla Jerónimo Molina has given five pieces of Castillo de Jumilla to be exposed as 'pieces of the month' in the Archaeological Museum of Murcia.
Councillor for Culture, Pilar Martínez, and the director general of Cultural Heritage, Maria Comas, were in charge of giving by inaugurated the exhibition in the afternoon yesterday at the Museum of the capital.
This is a bottle of yellowish green mud decorated in gallon, a jug of cylindrical shape slightly tapered towards the mouth, a cover of greenish yellow paste without decoration, a bottle so troncocilíndrica glazed yellow roan without handle and spout and dish decorated white glaze on the background of a flower tripetala in blue and a line on the edge of the same color.
Then a talk on the Castillo de Jumilla by archaeologists Emiliano Hernández Carrión, director of the archeology section of the Museum of Jumilla Jerónimo Molina and director of excavations related to the strength, and José Luis Simón García, archaeologist was given territorial of the province of Alicante.
The pieces will be on display until mid-March and the time in which they can be visited from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00;
Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00, and on Sundays and holidays from 11:00 to 14:00 hours.
