The Archaeological Museum of Murcia hosts a conference on the Castillo de Jumilla, its history and its restoration (16/02/2016)

The Archaeological Museum of Murcia (MAM) today (20:00) will host a lecture on the Castillo de Jumilla by archaeologists Emiliano Hernández Carrión, director of the Archaeological Museum of Jumilla and director of excavations related to the strength, and Joseph Luis Simón García, territorial archaeologist in the province of Alicante.

Fort Story

The strategic position of the hill where the castle stands Jumilla has made the area has been occupied more or less stable since the Bronze Age until the reign of the Catholic Monarchs.
