On Thursday it became official the merger of the Municipal School of Soccer and Youth Football Jumilla with the signing of the documents so certify.
The signing took place between the Councillor for Sports, José Luis Monreal, the coordinator of the College Football José Luis Soriano and Jumilla Grassroots President Manuel María.
As of now the team is called 'Grassroots Municipal School Jumilla' and will bring together about 200 kids in all categories, from Benjamin to juveniles, with two teams in each category and a total of ten teams.
José Luis Monreal said: "This is a very important agreement, as they bind the two most important quarries of football and that will boost sporting bases."
Monreal said that "this attempt to merge invited all clubs with bases in Jumilla, to achieve a strong base and with a clear purpose, that kids play sports, be educated in the sport coexistence and that all these children are Jumillano used by clubs and other senior level. "
For his part, congratulated José Luis Soriano, who had this idea, "there has been virtually no problem getting this merger and now all work in the same line in order to achieve greater success in sports and all kids are under the same name, with a more competitive team. "
Finally, Manuel María stressed "the importance of this agreement and has brought joy to all."
This merger is the culmination of several months of talks between the two clubs for the future of the quarry Jumillano.
The representatives of the two clubs agreed that "the best players can defend both the same colors and subsidies, and contributions of the companies will aim at the same club with the benefit that this brings."
