The Councillor for Economy and Employment Jesus Sanchez has reported on the grant award for various employment workshops by the Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and to be attended by 32 workers unemployed.
The aid is for 2010-2011, amounting to 691,249.92 euros and the patterns of the workshops, which begin in October, are painting, Geriatrics and home help.
This grant follows a request made by the municipality of Jumilla on February 23, 2010 under the name Workshop Employment Gemina.
These workshops aim to paint the rehabilitation of public buildings in our town and the creation of a comprehensive support service to individuals and families.
The workshops will consist of 32 workers, distributed to the paint shop with 12 employees and 10 workers belonging to the Geriatric Department, plus 10 to boost the Municipal Services Home Help.
The mayor of Economy and Employment has stated on this concession "that the city has already begun carrying out the appropriate paperwork for unemployed workers as soon as possible starting job this workshop."
The three workshops will begin on October 1, 2010, taking place in two phases, the first since October 1, 2010 until March 31, 2011, and the second phase from April 1, 2011 until 30 September 2011, according to Sanchez ultimately "these 32 workers will be unemployed one year forming and conducting these workshops in our municipality."
Concerning the processing of this grant, the council has met all the requirements for receiving such aid.
Such aids are financed with a share of 80% by the European Social Fund Plan 2007-2013.
The remaining 20% is funded by the Employment and Training Service of the CARM.
A portion of this amount the council intended, for the various steps, which must be made to this year, an amount of EUR 3562.28.
The total hours of employment of these workshops will be of 1,920 hours.
During the months of July, August and September will proceed to what is the selection of these 32 people to participate in these workshops, "all this will be done according to the rules that the Regional Employment Service and Training established, the council just what this legislation does is execute, "says Sanchez.
These workshops jobs depend on the councils displayed by Yolanda Fernandez and Jesus Sanchez through the Economic and Employment Service of the municipality of Jumilla.
