The Minister of Culture, Ángeles González-Sinde, has opened this morning in Jumilla Socio Cultural Center Roque Banos, in homage to the composer Jumillano.
Previously, he has made an official visit to the local council, with the assistance of Mayor Francisco Abellán, the Government Delegate, Rafael González Tovar, and Roque Baños.
Culture Minister has discovered the inaugural board of the Center named one of the leading Spanish composers specializing in film and jazz.
During his speech, Gonzalez-Sinde noted that the establishment of this Centre "guarantees the right of all citizens to access culture."
It has also highlighted the incalculable benefits accruing to Jumilla Center as "the improvement of living and well being generated by the meeting in a place that belongs to everybody, all kinds of people from different ideas and generations."
Finally, the Minister has concluded that "most people have enjoyed the culture have been more prepared to face the future."
