| 190 grants have been awarded, ranging between 500 and 1,900 euros and totaling 136,125 euros | This afternoon the resolution was published with the definitive list of subsidies for trade, restoration, hospitality and other activities that had to close due to the State of Alarm.
The available item was 400,000 euros and the bases approved in the plenary session in September have been followed.
A total of 190 grants have been awarded, ranging between 500 and 1,900 euros and totaling 136,125 euros.
291 applications were submitted, of which 101 have been rejected for not complying with any of the requirements such as not having an activity license or a responsible declaration in the name of the owner on March 14, 2020, not complying with the requirement of date of registration with Social Security, not being up to date in compliance with tax, Social Security or Jumilla City Council obligations or belonging to an activity heading not included in the bases.
The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, has regretted that a hundred have been left out, "since we would have liked to give them all and with that intention a sufficient game was set for it, but if they did not comply with the bases it was impossible grant them.
" The bases were agreed with the trade and hospitality associations, as well as with the political groups with the aim of making them as simple as possible.
"With the experience of this year, for 2021 we will take stock and meet again with municipal associations and groups, making the necessary changes to make a new call adapted to the situation," he added.
The list has been published in the electronic headquarters of the City Council and includes all the approved and denied applications, as well as the reasons for the exclusion.
