The agreement provided by name in the Municipal Budget 2020 between the City Council of Jumilla and the Church of Santiago has been approved for 25,000 euros to collaborate with the first phase of execution of the organ restoration project, according to the draft drafted by the Organer a Frederic Desmottes Workshop. The cost of restoring the organ in this first phase, which is the subject of this agreement, amounts to a total of 50,820 euros. In this first phase, disassembly and restoration were carried out in the Landete workshop, manufacturing the metal ducts of the six corrugated planks, as well as the façade pipes. The organ was built at the beginning of the 19th century and is considered one of the most important in the Spanish Levante.
