This morning a commission has been set up with the aim of requesting that the Procession of the Penitents be declared an Asset of Intangible Cultural Interest.It is made up of the Jumilla City Council, through its mayor, Juana Guardiola, and the Councilor for Culture, Pilar Martínez, the president of the Central Board of Holy Week Brotherhoods of Jumilla, Juan Francisco Martínez, and the Brotherhood itself Penitencial del Cristo de la Vida, which has been represented by its president, José Carrión and the member of its board of directors, María Pla.
