The Government of Spain, through the Secretary of State for Territorial Policy and Public Function, has assigned Jumilla a grant of 143,428.83 euros to finance repairs for damage caused by storms and other catastrophic situations. With this amount it will be possible to finance part of different repairs of damages caused by the DANA of September 2019, among which are the conditioning of the road surface that sank on the main collector of connections with the Treatment Plant, the passage of the rambla the road from Cavita to Casa Fraile and the reconstruction of a retaining wall in the district of La Zarza. The total cost of these works for which the Jumilla City Council requested this grant is budgeted at 285,000 euros.
