| They will be incorporated as support personnel for public roads and building maintenance | The Governing Board held this morning has agreed to the temporary hiring of two bricklayers through the job boards put into effect last year.
The objective is for them to join full-time contracts of six and eight months, respectively, as support staff in one case to carry out maintenance and upkeep of public roads in Jumilla and districts, and in the other for maintenance and conservation of public buildings in the municipality.
These two hires join those that were carried out months ago with the same objective. In minor contracts, the acquisition of three sand baths for the La Estacada Botanical Garden has been approved, which will be used for the installation of workout elements (street training) that will be installed in this area.
The sand will be supplied by JJ QuÃlez SL at a cost of 1,960.20 euros, while the elements will be installed by municipal staff. Likewise, the new report on activities planned for the extension of employment and local development agents in matters of economy and local promotion, on the one hand, and tourism, on the other, has been approved.
It is also agreed to request a subsidy from the Employment and Training Service. On the other hand, the specifications for the concession of public domain for the private use and exploitation of the kiosk located in Ronda Poniente Juan Pablo II have been approved, the only award criterion being the one with the highest amount of canon offered, setting the bidding base at 3,011.61 euros. In the settlement of obligations, an amount of 253,292.20 euros has been approved for payment to suppliers.
The associations of Agua y Tierra and Grupo de Coros y Danzas de Jumilla have justified their 2016 grants.
