| The period will close on January 12, 2021 and the jury, made up of five teachers from the municipality, will issue a decision with the winners of the two categories called : short narrative and verse | Yesterday the deadline for submitting works was opened for the XXXIII City of Jumila Literary Prize, which is convened in a short narrative and verse mode with an endowment of 2,000 euros for the winners (1,000 euros per category).
The deadline for submitting the works will be limited to January 12, 2021. The Councilor for Culture, Pilar Martínez, has reported that the jury is made up of five teachers from the municipality: Amparo Campos García, who will act as president, Benito Santos Sigüenza, José Luis Soriano Carcelén, Andrés Carlos López Herrero and Alberto Navarro Elbal.
The head of the Archive and Library Service, José Luis González Olivares, will act as secretary. Works in the short narrative mode will have a minimum length of 5 pages and a maximum of 10, in A-4, Arial font and size 12 with two spaces and one side with numbered pages.
For the verse mode, a minimum length of one hundred verses is required, in A-4, Arial font and size 12 with two spaces and only on the front. The works can be presented by ordinary mail addressed to the Department of Culture of the City of Jumilla or by email to premioliterario@jumilla.org.
In either of the two forms of presentation, two attached files (or envelopes) will be sent: one with the work (printed six times or in PDF format) indicating the title and pseudonym and the other with the personal data (name, surname, contact telephone number and address of the author, brief curriculum of the author, in addition to the DNI scanned on both sides, as well as a written statement from the author guaranteeing that the rights of the work are not compromised, stating if it has been submitted to another contest pending resolution.
