Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the developed world, and it is preventable in more than 80% of cases (WHO).These pathologies are responsible for more than 120,000 deaths each year in Spain, that is, almost 330 deaths a day, a fact that should not go unnoticed.
The Jumilla City Council, through the Department of Public Health, has reached an agreement with the Spanish Heart Foundation to help disseminate and collaborate on a heart-healthy lifestyle and thus the prevention of cardiovascular diseases."Throughout the year we will collaborate in the dissemination of news and we will join the activities that this foundation does and thus encourage a healthy lifestyle in our city," said the area councilor, Antonio López.
