| It involves the comprehensive renovation of the section between Avenida de la Libertad and the Ermita de San Agustín, with an investment of 440,000 euros | The Local Government Board has awarded the Ayllonza company the remodeling works on Avenida de la Asunción, in the section between Avenida de la Libertad and the Ermita de San Agustín.
This is the most advantageous offer of the 23 presented, whose performance will cost 439,692.27 euros. The works will consist of redefining the road network and car parks, as well as the provision of bike lanes.
Likewise, new sidewalks will be built, since in some areas the patching of the road has caused it to remain below it, with the problems that this entails.
In addition, the surface drainage system for rainwater will be modified, the sanitation and drinking water network will be renewed, the existing trees will be replaced and the public lighting will be renewed.
The remodeling also includes the installation of underground containers and the renovation of urban furniture, with the installation of new benches and wastebaskets. "The improvement works on Avenida de la Asunción are one of the projects of the local government, which will make it possible to modernize one of the most important arteries of entry and exit to the municipality," said the Councilor for Works, Francisco González.
