On October 14, the 2020 breast cancer campaign ends in Jumilla, which began on September 24, launched by the General Directorate of Public Health together with the Jumilla City Council and the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
As on previous occasions, a mobile unit has traveled to Jumilla to perform mammography tests, which is located next to the Health Center, specifically on Juan XXIII street.1,512 women between 50 and 69 years old have been cited by letter, who undergo a mammogram, since this is the ideal age range for early detection, having this test done every two years.
"Any woman who has not received the letter and is in that age range, has the possibility to go to the mobile unit without an appointment, as well as those women ranging from 45 to 49 years old or who consider themselves at risk," the councilor reported.
Public Health Department, Antonio López The opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 8.30 to 14.30 and from 15.15 to 19.30 and on Fridays from 8.30 to 13.30.
