The Department of Social Policy has assigned three officials to this service with the aim of not changing staff throughout the year and depending on the subsidies received.
"This is a new step forward and an important improvement of the CAVI, with which we will achieve a service with total stability," said the area councilor, Antonio López. The CAVI is a service designed to assist women victims of gender violence from different professional approaches, offering individual and group treatment to battered women.
They receive advice and care to integrate into society and overcome the consequences that the abuse suffered has produced.
This service includes a legal adviser, a psychologist and a social worker.
It is located in the Social Services Center, on Albano Martínez street number 9, with a schedule from 9:30 a.m.
to 2:00 p.m.
from Monday to Friday and from 5:00 p.m.
to 7:00 p.m.
