The existing luminaires have been replaced by others of the LED type, which will lead to energy savings compared to the previous ones of between 60 and 70%.
The cost of the action will be 9,000 euros and the work is being carried out by municipal workers. The Councilor for Services, Francisco González, explained that it is about 30 lights and that "these improvements are being undertaken because many of these streetlights were deteriorated and, in addition, they were causing supply problems, sometimes causing power cuts."
