The Triathlon Federation of the Region of Murcia, in consensus with the organizers, has canceled the tests that were yet to be disputed in the Autonomous Community during the current year 2020 as a result of the new expansion of the coronavirus, so the season is given for finished.Among them is the Regional Team Triathlon Championship that was scheduled to take place in Jumilla on October 18, a test that was to be held in July, but which the pandemic forced to postpone.

Likewise, the Molinos Marfagones Cross Duathlon, which was to take place in that county of Cartagena, and the Regional Sprint Triathlon Championship, which was to be held in Águilas, were also suspended.

The Department of Sports has already requested a date for the classic Jumilla test to be included in the 2021 calendar, its dispute being scheduled for the last weekend of June or the first of July.Likewise, it would be the Regional Team Championship.
