The parterre of the statue of the doctor and politician Roque Martínez Pérez, in the Plaza del Rey Don Pedro, is being rebuilt, and it is planned that new vegetation will be planted once the works are completed. The rubber flooring has been removed, as well as the base concrete, until reaching the foundation of the skirting board of the parterre, which is being rebuilt.

Likewise, two side corridors are being created, which will be connected through a third corridor at the rear of the statue, where a bench will also be located.

The works are being carried out with municipal personnel.
