| Work is being done to launch a plan to reactivate the group that is based on promoting volunteering through quality training, as well as improving technical resources of which are currently available | The Jumilla Civil Protection Volunteers Association has proposed and appointed Salvador García Albert as coordinator in the extraordinary assembly held this Sunday at its premises on Avenida de la Libertad with this single point on the agenda. The Councilor for Civil Protection, Isabel López, has reported that the election of the coordinator was made without votes against.
"Likewise, work is being done to launch a plan to reactivate the group that is based on promoting volunteering through quality training, as well as improving the technical means currently available", she added. Both the area councilor and the local police deputy chief inspector, Salvador Gómez, thanked all the volunteers for the selfless work carried out especially in recent months, so important in the fight against the covid-19 pandemic.
