| These are two of the proposals approved through Participatory Budgets, which have involved an investment of 30,000 euros and will promote a energy savings compared to the previous ones of between 60 and 70% | The works to improve the public lighting of Cánovas del Castillo street have been completed, as well as the first section of the Santa Ana highway.
The existing luminaires have been replaced by other LEDs, which will lead to energy savings with respect to to the previous ones between 60 and 70%. These are two of the proposals approved in the Participatory Budgeting process.
The cost of the work on Cánovas Street was 21,777 euros, carried out by the local company Instalaciones Eléctricas Tomás López.
In the case of the Santa Ana road, 8,893.50 euros have been invested and installed by the municipal staff themselves. The Councilor for Services, Francisco González, has reported that "the retired luminaires that are in better condition are recycled and will be used to renew other castings in areas where the switch to LED has not yet been made, such as in the rest of sections of the Santa Ana highway ".
