The new one has been built with a more current system, through sandwich panels with the aim of improving its waterproofing and thermal insulation.
The works have been carried out by the Vifraju company at a cost of 21,329.24 euros.
The previous roof was, given its age, in poor condition and built with Arabic tile and on a cane. This morning the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, together with the councilors of Works and Pedanías, Francisco González and Mª Belén López, who were accompanied by the pediatrician, María González, the president of the AAVV, Maite Albert, visited the works.
and the president of the Rural Women's Association, Antonia García. The headquarters of Las Encebras is located in the old school of the district, in the Plaza de la Ermita, where a shade has recently been installed for which a pergola has been created that allows ventilation and blends with the nature, with an investment of 10,000 euros.
