| Along with the Asphalting Plan in Pedanías, already executed, the renovation of the infrastructure of La Estacada and the sections of Álvarez Quintero and Avenida streets de San José, involve an investment of 600,000 euros | With the works on Cura Abellán street, from Cervantes to Nuestra Señora de Fátima, the III Asphalting Plan for the town center has been completed, which has improved several sections of 13 streets in the municipality. Through it, the San Blas street has been completely renovated, also including the sidewalks.
The Reyes Catolicos avenue (between Avenida la Asunción and Calle Fueros), as well as Vicente Medina streets (between Santo Tomás and Infante don Fadrique), Isaac Peral (between Vicente Medina and Fuensanta), Saavedra Fajardo ( between Infante Don Fadrique and Isaac Peral), Pasos (between Pasos Altos and Calvario), Duque (between Canónigo Lozano and Avenida de Yecla), Cura Abellán (between Fátima and Cervantes), Sagasta (between Cura Abellán and Canónigo Lozano), Calvario ( between Cruces and Pasos), Marchante (corner with Tornero), Zorrilla (between Paz and Hernando de Nuño) and Cuesta Puntero.
During these days, the road markings are being repainted. Today some of these streets have been visited by the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the councilor for Works and Urbanism, Francisco González, who have reported that the Asphalting Plan for the Urban Center has involved an investment of 159,715 euros, with Etosa being the awarded company Building Works and Services, to which must be added 140,000 euros in the improvements in hydraulic infrastructures previously carried out through Aguas de Jumilla.
Outside the plan, the section that joins San José Avenue with Los Franceses Avenue has also been resurfaced and a new overpass has been built on Reyes Catolicos Avenue, corner with Juan Ramón Jiménez, at a cost of 7,955 euros. In addition, a few weeks ago the Asphalting Plan in different districts ended, to which must be added the next improvements to be made through the La Estacada Asphalting Plan, which includes renovation of infrastructures and sidewalks in different streets, as well as the second phase from Álvarez Quintero street.
All this involves an investment in the municipality in improvements to public roads close to 600,000 euros.
