Today, the works projects to be carried out within the Works and Services Plan corresponding to the 2020-21 year have been approved unanimously in extraordinary plenary session.It is about the improvement of the firm and drinking water and sewerage services of Diego Abellán street (between Cuesta Puntero and Cura Abellán) and Valencia street (between Reyes Católicos and Libertad avenues); the reconstruction of the old tennis courts, as well as the construction of a building for toilets and changing rooms at the La Hoya Sports Center.

The total budgeted cost of the works is 701,141.06 euros, of which 463,188 euros will come from European Funds distributed by CARM, which will be joined by another 237,953.06 to be contributed by the City Council.As a Complementary Plan project, the rainwater evacuation works and the paving of the transit areas of the La Hoya Sports Center have been approved, in this case budgeted at 195,563.64 euros.
