The City Council of Jumilla and the Association of Drums Cristo de la Sangre report that in order to avoid contagion by coronavirus, the organizers of the National Days of Exaltation of the Drum and the Bombo in Alcorisa have decided to postpone the acts from March 20 to 22.
The decision has been taken this noon by the Board of Spokesmen of the City Council of Alcorisa and the National Consortium of Peoples of the Drum and the Bombo, at the recommendation of the Ministry of Health of the Government of Aragon and the Ministry of Health.
Faced with this situation, and after the conversations held with numerous local mayors, they planned to participate, it was decided to postpone their celebration and not their suspension.
The new date will be decided by the Consortium Board, but is expected to be delayed until May or June.
Health advises not to hold events whose attendance exceeds 1,000 people, and the National Days are an event that mobilizes a much higher number of drum and bass fans from all over Spain.
