The certification of the Jumilla Wine Route has been renewed at the meeting last week of the ACEVIN board of directors held in Madrid with the assistance of the mayor of Jumilla and treasurer of the association, Juana Guardiola, who was accompanied by the Head of the Department of Tourism of the City Council, Ángel Pérez.
The mayor has expressed her satisfaction for "receiving the congratulations of the ACEVIN board of directors for the extraordinary results of our Wine Route. This means that we have a quality tourist product, since we meet all the mandatory parameters and a large part of the optional that are marked from ACEVIN and the Ministry of Tourism ".
In addition, the 2020 Work Plan was approved, a strategy that includes improving the digital promotion of this wine tourism club, starting with the design of a new, more attractive and intuitive website, with updated calendar of events, in addition to establishing a strategy of digital marketing and promoting campaigns through social networks.
Another objective of the Work Plan for the promotion of the Wine Routes of Spain is to have a greater presence in fairs of the wine tourism sector.
Likewise, the launch of the annual initiative 'Spanish City of Wine' was proposed in line with the 'European City of Wine', which starts RECEVIN, but at the state level.
