With the motto 'Advancing' have been presented today by the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the activities organized by the Department of Equality to commemorate International Women's Day (8M).
The councilor of the area, Lola Gómez, accompanied by the technician of the area, Paqui Ruiz, has been in charge of reeling the large program that begins on February 29 and ends on March 20.
A live music festival called 8MRAP 2020 will begin activities on Saturday 29. It will include, among others, the presence of the Ira, Fenyx, Murymds and Dj Will groups, as well as Neusi and Arión.
It will be held on Saturday 29 in the inner courtyard of the Food Market from 7 pm.
From March 2 to 6, 'Storytelling for happy children' will be taken to the Primary Education Centers.
On Tuesday 3, the Women's Associations Network will be seen in the Supply Market from 10 to 13.30 hours with the activity 'Visible: crafts and claims'.
The next day (5 pm. Casa de la Cultura) a coffee talk will be held by Mari Carmen Herrero with the title 'Women in Jumilla, evolution and challenges'.
On Thursday (20 h. Roque Baños Center) a round table will be held, within the conference 'An Education for the 21st Century' with the title 'Women against climate change in the Region of Murcia'.
For Sunday 8, a women's futsal match has been scheduled by the ALI Association, in the Municipal Sports Center (10 h.) On Monday 9, in the IES of the municipality, the paper 'Macedonia, growing in equality' will be offered, also from the 'An Education for the 21st Century' program.
The activities will close on March 20 with the play 'Micromaqué?', At the Vico and with tickets at 3 euros.
There will also be a film series with the collaboration of Cineclub Seventh Basement with three films on March 6, 13 and 27.
