Jumilla will be represented again at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR), held in Madrid from January 22 to 26.
In this 2020 edition there will be double prominence of the municipality, as reported today at a press conference by the Mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the Councilor for Tourism, María Quílez, and the presidents of the Central Board of Holy Week Brotherhoods, Juan Francisco García , and the Jumilla Wine Route, Sebastián García.
It will be the first time that the Holy Week of Jumilla is presented in this exhibition as a party cataloged of International Tourist Interest.
The staging will take place on Wednesday 22 at 13.30 in the central stage of the Pavilion of Murcia, along with the other three international holy weeks that the Region has: Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca.
Likewise, the poster of Holy Week 2020 will be present, which will be previously presented at Jumilla this Saturday at 8 pm at the Ethnographic Museum.
In the afternoon, at 16.30, a video will be presented on the wine tourism offer of Jumilla, in the space offered to the wine routes of the Region of Murcia.
There will also be tasting of Dum Jumilla Wines, as well as tourist material from the municipality.
"We have a lot to offer in Jumilla, so I think that this year we will improve the tourism figures in the municipality again. This 2020 I have special enthusiasm in the Center of Interpretation of Wine, whose museum project is already awarded," concluded the mayoress.
