The November plenary session unanimously approved the creation of a Local Tourism Council in the City Council of Jumilla, which will be composed of the different municipal groups, municipal technicians, Wine Route Association and all the agents involved in the tourism sector at the level local.
The motion was presented by the mixed group.
This local council will be provided with an internal regulation and will be responsible for developing a Strategic Tourism Plan.
The Local Tourism Council itself, together with the department of the area, will be the body responsible for monitoring the approved measures, as well as making new proposals.
In urgent matters, an institutional declaration was read for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
In the control part he realized the resolutions of the Mayor's Office, the delegated councilors and the judicial resolutions.
