The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, accompanied by councilors of the three political groups, technicians of the CAVI and municipal workers have placed this morning on the balcony of the City of Jumilla the purple tie that symbolizes the fight against gender violence.
Different awareness activities are taking place throughout the week.
Tonight, at the Vico Theater, we will proceed to read the manifesto against gender violence and the screening of videos made by high school students.
Next, the play 'Before the mirror' will be represented by the Las Encebras Theater Association.
In addition, from 7.30 pm there will be an informative stand of the Red Cross at the door of the Vico Theater with the campaign 'Love builds not destroys'.
The activities will end next Monday (6:00 pm) with the usual commemorative event in the Monolith for Women on Liberty Avenue.
