The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the president of the Federation of Peñas of the Harvest Festival, Guillermo González, have signed this morning the agreement for the granting of the grant of 25,000 euros provided for in the 2019 Municipal Budget, with the presence, in addition, of the councilor of Celebrations, José Antonio Jiménez.

With this amount, the City Council cooperates financially in the activities organized throughout the year by the Federation of Peñas.

Similarly, the City Council facilitates event infrastructure, extraordinary cleanings after horseback riding, assembly of the Wine Fountain or hiring safety precautions.

The agreement is approved and signed once the group to which the subsidy is granted justifies that of the previous year.

"It is to be appreciated that in Jumilla we have associations like this one that co-organize the parties with the City Council and that have a special treatment because they are the parties of all and so we feel them," said the mayor.
