The Farmhouse will organize next Sunday, December 1, the second edition of the Gastronomy and Live Art Day, which has been presented today at the City Hall by the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the councilor of Pedanías, Belén López, and the pedña , Antonia García.
After the success of the last edition the activity is organized again, which aims to give activity to the village also in winter.
Gastroarte consists of the installation of different booths that will offer traditional Jumilla cuisine: mortirigüelo, balls, crumbs, gazpachos, cheese with tomato, michirones, paella, torrijas, fried milk and colostros.
They will be accompanied by wines from the Jumilla PDO and the start is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
The artistic part will be presented by different photography and painting samples of various artists and Rural Women of La Alquería, as well as a poetry recital by Lorena Tranche Ocheda, the Julián Santos Musical Association, Unstable Theater, Inma Bernabéu and María's storytelling Azorín
Tickets are priced at 15 euros and can be purchased in advance at Pizzeria Milenium until November 28.
The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, congratulated the neighbors for starting this initiative again, "which gives momentum to our districts with activities in which they will always have the support of the City Council," he said.
