The renovation and widening works on the sidewalks of Murcia Avenue have begun on the section between Progreso and Arsenal streets.
This is one of the proposals of the Participatory Budgeting process 2019.
With this reform, transit will be facilitated for people with reduced mobility, since the old sidewalk had a width of 1.20 meters, which was often reduced by being invaded by the vehicles they park, when this section was carried out battery parking.
In addition, the old paving is tiled, which due to its design and wear, are slippery and have many discontinuities due to the entrance of the buildings, a circumstance that will remain with the reform resolved.
Once the work is finished, parking spaces will not be lost, they will remain the same.
The cost will be 23,945.54 euros and is being carried out by Construcciones Vifraju.
