The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the director of the National Folklore Festival, José Carrión, on behalf of the Jumilla Choir and Dance Group, have signed this morning the agreement for the granting of the grant of 22,500 euros planned in the Municipal Budgets 2019, with the presence, in addition, of the Councilor of Celebrations, José Antonio Jiménez.
With this amount, the City Council cooperates financially in the execution of the National Folklore Festival that is held annually in the municipality.
Expenses such as Festival promotion activities, publications, transfers, accommodations and maintenance of participating groups, as well as sound and lighting are subsidized.
Similarly, the City Council facilitates the infrastructure of the event.
