Jumilla will host next Friday, October 18, the Joint Annual Session of the Royal Academies of Medicine and Surgery of the Region of Murcia and the Valencian Community.
The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the secretary of RAMM, Carmen Sánchez, and Dr. Jumillano, Guzmán Ortuño, today presented the activity that will take place at the Julián Santos Auditorium with the presence of about 50 academics.
The day will begin at 11 am with the intervention of the presidents and honorary presidents of both entities.
Next, Dr. Juan Viñas will give the lecture 'Experimental models in Biomedicine: from the laboratory to the clinic'.
Then, it will be Dr. Felipe Llanes who will offer 'Cajal and Simarro: shared will and faith'.
Finally, Dr. Miguel Marín Padilla will receive a mention throughout his scientific career and will give the talk 'Morphological bases of neuronal oxygenation in the human brain'.
The morning conferences are open to the public until capacity is reached.
In the afternoon, participants will visit the Convent of Santa Ana and Bodegas San Isidro.
