The hellinero public determined as winning wines two wines awarded in the 25th DOP Jumilla Quality Contest.
Thus, the gold medal-winning wine in the Red Crianza category, Altico 2015 of Bodegas Carchelo, also won the popular jury prize in that category.
Alceño Blanco 2018, from Bodegas Alceño, a silver medal, was also awarded in this blind tasting conducted by fans, reinforcing and validating its results.
The popular taste coincided with the professional, making it clear that you don't have to be an expert to value good wines.
Bodegas Alceño repeated recognition in the category of red wines made without contact with wood with its Red Alceño 2018, demonstrating that the wines they like, everyone likes.
In the part of best tasters, the prize was taken by José Manuel Morcillo Rodríguez in the White category, Juan Escudero in the Reds category made without contact with wood, and José Miguel García García in the Reds category made in contact with wood.
