The plenary hall of the City of Jumilla has today hosted the act of appointing the mayors of the municipality.
Six women and three men will be the representatives of the mayor, Juana Guardiola, in the nine districts that the municipality has.
During the month of September the meetings have been held in each of them, in which the neighbors themselves have chosen their mayors-pedáneos among the candidates presented.
A total of 698 neighbors took part in the nine meetings.
In five of the districts the same pedáneos will continue in office as in the previous legislature (Fuente del Pino, Román, Cañada del Trigo, Torre del Rico and La Raja), while in the remaining four the representatives are new to the position.

The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, has made the delivery of appointments and congratulated the pedáneos "for joining this challenge".
In addition, the councilor of Pedanías, María Belén López, as well as other councilors of the local government and the corporation attended the event.
