The first phase of the renovation works of sidewalks and parking area of ​​the southern part of Avenida de Levante, on the stretch between Juan XXIII and Juan Ramón Jiménez streets, has been completed.
The complete work involves the transformation of this sidewalk between Valencia and Joaquín Turina.
This is one of the actions of the POS 2018-19, whose cost, once completed, will be 136,950.58 euros, of which 117,800 will be provided by the CARM and 19,150.58 euros by the City of Jumilla.
The trees have been aligned without obstructing the sidewalk, which now has three meters wide and is fully accessible, nor the new parking area, where the number of vehicles that can park has increased, as reported by the Councilor for Works Francisco González
