The CAVI (Center for Attention to Victims of Gender Violence) of Jumilla has organized today a training session on the occasion of the celebration of the next Fair and Festivities that has been given by the CAVAX (Center of Integral Attention for Victims of Abuse and / or Sexual Assault) with the aim of preventing sexual abuse and aggression and knowing how to act in these situations.
Components of the security forces Local Police, Civil Guard and Civil Protection, as well as the ALI Association for the fight for equality, professionals from the Center for Social Services, Department of Equality, Red Cross and the training and employment project for young people from the Caritas Highlands.
The Councilor for Social Policy, José Luis Monreal, has highlighted the importance of this type of training for people who have direct treatment with the victims and has valued the different experiences contributed in the different practical cases that have enriched the different professionals.
The CAVAX team plans to return to Jumilla the week of November 25 within the activities that will be held on the occasion of the commemoration of the Day Against Gender Violence.
