The Governing Board held today has begun the file to contract the reconstruction works of House M in the Iberian settlement of Coimbra del Barranco Ancho and its surroundings.
The total cost of the project will be 93,019.93 euros, which will be addressed through a grant of 79,504.22 euros from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, with the City Council contributing € 13,515.71.
It is one of the most outstanding houses in the town, as it had cupboards, ridges, oven and central home.
All the trousseau found inside the house will be placed in its original place.
The visitor can enjoy the house in real size, as well as its importance within the urban layout of the town.
In addition, it will preserve the found structures, such as walls and cupboards of adobes or plasters, avoiding their degradation due to erosion and inclement weather.
All work will be carried out with materials of the same texture and color as the originals, but in a way that the built is perfectly distinguished from the preserved.
