The unemployment figures in Jumilla with which ends the month of June are similar to the previous month.
The total number of unemployed is 1,572, one more than in May.
By gender, it has dropped by 30 women, but it has increased by 31 men.
If compared with the figures of the same month last year, June 2019 ends with 204 people in search of employment less than at the same time in 2018.
By age, in Jumilla there is a youth unemployment that has gone from 7.64% to 8.33%, although the majority group is still older than 45 years.
By economic sectors, it is still the service sector that brings together the largest number of unemployed, representing more than half of all unemployment.
The industry decreases from 12.16% to 11.64% of the total unemployed, and it increases very slightly the construction sector from 8.34% to 8.91%.
