Bodegas Luzón has received two medals and a special mention in the XXV Jumilla Wine Quality Contest.
Altos de Luzón was awarded with the silver medal and Luzón Monastrell Collection with a gold medal and with the prestigious Honorable Mention, which proclaims it as the best Monastrell wine of the Jumilla PDO within its category.
The two awards granted to Bodegas Luzón represent an important distinction and certify the excellence and quality of the production of their wines.
From its origins, for the elaboration of the wines it has used the most sophisticated and advanced systems, without forgetting the wine tradition of the Jumilla PDO and the history of the winery.
The ceremony, which took place in the rooms of Pius XII in Jumilla, is the culmination of an intense week in which prestigious experts analyzed and positively evaluated the quality of the different wines presented.
Only 12 of the 30 Jumilla PDO wineries that presented their wines to the contest were awarded.
Bodegas Luzón is a modern and different company, full of energy that fuses the best of its past with its innovative character to produce wines with a very strong personality.
It is one of the most important wineries of the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Jumilla, which manages more than 1,200 hectares of vineyards to obtain the best grapes with which they make pleasant, fruity and easy to drink wines.
