The councilor of Sports, José Antonio Jiménez, accompanied by the president of the Federation of Peñas de la Fiesta de la Vendimia, Guillermo González, and the commercial director of Kelme, Luciano Herrero, presented this afternoon the IV Chatico Extreme Race, race of obstacles that are recovered after two years without organizing.
The event is held on Saturday July 13 and this time three modalities are developed, defined as Chatico Zagalico, La Chatico 5 km and Chatico Extreme 10 km.
The circuits where it develops have an exit and finish at Paseo Lorenzo Guardiola and combine asphalt, tracks and trails.
The Chatico Zagalico will be held in the morning, from 12 o'clock in three categories:
Mengajos
Between 5 and 7 years old.
1 km
Zagalicos
Between 8 and 11 years old.
2 km
Zanguangos
Between 12 and 15 years of age.
3 km
La Chatico 5 km will have 35 obstacles to overcome before crossing the finish line.
This modality is open to all those people who have a good physical condition, from 16 years of age.
The Chatico Extreme has the same characteristics, but with twice the distances and obstacles.
Both will start at 7:00 p.m.
The Councilor for Sports, José Antonio Jiménez, has encouraged athletes "to enjoy and fill with mud in this test so peculiar that I myself lived from within the previous editions."
Both the president of the Peñas Federation and the representatives of the sponsoring company have thanked the Department of Sports, Services and Public Safety for their collaboration.
