Yesterday was held the first Governing Board of the legislature 2019-23 whose agreements were to approve the call for the granting of grants for non-profit associations with social purposes, competitive competitive system for the year 2019. In the Municipal Budget a 60,000 euro item was established for these grants, which will be awarded based on two lines:
Line A. For those associations whose purpose is to contribute in projects directed to the promotion and revitalization of the applicant association, the associated persons being beneficiaries.
Line B. For those in which the association acts as an assistant and collaborator of public administrations, whose purpose is to contribute in projects aimed at achieving the improvement of the quality of life of certain groups with socio-health problems.
For this annual call, the maximum amount that can be distributed among all the applications on line A is 18,000 euros and on line B, 42,000 euros.
The maximum limit to grant per grant on line A will be 2,000 euros and on line B it will be 6,000 euros.
They can be requested in the General Register of the City of Jumilla within 20 calendar days from the next publication of the call in the BORM.
On the other hand, the procedure for the granting of subsidies destined to the accomplishment of sports activities in competitive concurrency regime is initiated.

Will be awarded according to four different lines: programs of sports activities in federated competition (line 1), sports initiation programs (line 2), organization of sporting events in Jumilla (line 3) or program for individual athletes competing in regional, national events or international (line 4).
The appropriation for these grants is, as approved in the 2019 Municipal Budget, of 40,000 euros.
Line 1 will be assigned 40%, while lines 2, 3 and 4 will be assigned 30, 20 and 10% respectively.
Other agreements
The Governing Board has agreed to award to the company Lavila Arquitectos POR 24,021 euros the contract for the drafting of the basic and execution project for the restoration of the Pérez de los Cobos house as a sociocultural center and musical legacy of Jumilla.
In this first session has also started the dossier of execution of the museographic and museological project for the Jumilla Wine Museum with a budget of 563,496.23 euros.
Likewise, health and safety plans have been approved for the renovation works of the firm and the pavement of the sidewalks and parking of the southern area of ​​Avenida de Levante, as well as the renovation works for water, sewerage and asphalting networks from a street in the 4th District, next to Juan Mancebón street, and from the covers of Mercado de Abastos.
On the other hand, the agreement is approved, which will be signed soon, for the direct award of a subsidy of 43,000 euros foreseen in the Municipal Budget 2019 to the Cuatro Patas Jumilla Association.
The Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries is authorized to carry out the works for the conditioning of the Hoya Torres-Gamellón roads, sections 1 and 2 of the Colonization and La Raja and La Zarza roads.
The public domain concession file for the exploitation of the kiosk located on Ortega y Gasset Street is declared void and a new concession procedure is opened.
The contract with Constantino González Bernal for the exploitation of the west kiosk of the Plaza del Rey Don Pedro is extended for two years.
The justifications for the grants of 2018 of the Local Federation of Mothers and Parents Associations of students of Educational Centers of Jumilla (FAMPA), as well as that of the neighborhood association of the San Antón neighborhood have been approved.
In liquidation of obligations, an amount of 574,388.61 euros was approved for payment to suppliers.
Minor contracts
In smaller contracts, the substitution of faucets and arrangement in the toilets of the Colegio La Asunción for 3,499.32 euros through José David Bernal;
the refurbishment of the old kennel site for 3,563.45 euros with J. Quílez, the development of a promotional video of Jumilla style hyperlapse with Juan Palao for 1,331 euros;
bus transfers for the Exaltation of Wine for 396 euros with Autocares Pelotón;
the contracting of cleaning of sidewalks and streets for wine rides with LTG Urban Services for 6.243,60 euros;
as well as different software for the City Council for 4,495 euros.
