It is an investment of almost 150,000 euros that has involved the installation of new more efficient projectors, with higher quality, instant ignition system and that will allow an energy saving of 65%.
The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, along with the councilors of Sports, Juan Antonio Jiménez, and Works, Francisco González, presented this morning the renovation of the lighting of the sports facilities of the Polideportivo Municipal La Hoya, whose amount has been of 146,043.96 euros.
Also present were representatives of the manufacturer of the projectors, Prilux, as well as the installation company, Electricity and Refrigeration Maisi.
The old projectors have been replaced by other LED technology, which will save 65% of energy.
The efficiency and also the quality are improved, installing even less projectors, since it has gone from 150 to 110. The new system also allows the instant on or off or programmed through a tablet.
Likewise, the restructuring of the electric control and protection panels has been undertaken, as well as the adaptation to safety regulations of the ladders of the lighting towers of football fields, both natural and artificial turf.
"This improvement joins the one carried out in these same facilities last year at a cost of 47,177 euros, which consisted of the lighting of common areas and transit areas such as streets, corridors and accesses to the different tracks and football fields, which to date they did not count on her ", has indicated the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola.
