The Directorate of the Penitentiary Center Puig de las Basas (Figueras - Gerona), issues a certificate highlighting that more than seven hundred inmates, plus prison officials and Catalan authorities, have seen the National Exhibition Prisoners of Fine Arts and Crafts whose authors are prisoners located in various penitentiary centers of the Spanish territory that participate in the Fénix Project of the associations: Associació Cultural Jumillana (Barcelona) and Asociación Templarios de Jumilla (Murcia) that use fine arts and crafts as formative therapy.
The exhibition, on the occasion of the festivities in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy, patron saint of captives, ex-captives and prison officers, was presented in September last year at the facilities of the Penitentiary Center Murcia II (Campos del Río), and that after Figueras he will travel to the Sevilla II prison in an itinerary that will probably end at the CIS Guillermo Miranda in the Murcia municipality of Sangonera la Verde.
