This week began the cleaning of waste from clandestine dumps located at 15 different points of the municipality of Jumilla.Barranco Villena, Camino de la Perlita, Vereda, Cuevas del Pájaro Verde, Camino de Montesinos, are some of the places where these works are being done.
Most of these illegal landfills have been cleaned several times in recent years, so from the Department of the Environment has requested citizen collaboration again to keep the environment clean, noting that there is the Ecoparque as a place to deposit the waste that does not belong to containers and that the abandonment of these in unauthorized places is punishable by fines.
The cost of these garbage and rubble removal works, as well as their management, in unauthorized places will be 17,546.21 euros and for this the company Movimientos y Excavaciones Lozano SL has been hired.
