The Science City workshop 'Discovering light, which visits this week Jumilla through the Youth Council will teach participants the many properties of light and its applications on a daily basis in a fun and fully interactive.
It is adapted to all ages and its objective is for the public to interact, participate and experience different optical effects first-hand.
The workshop will be taught by young researchers and researchers of the scientific dissemination group of IOSA, belonging to the Institute of Optics "Daza de Valdés" of the CSIC.
Some of the experiments are related to optical components such as lenses, vision and visual effects, with color, light, changes in the refractive index or with the explanation of optical phenomena such asTyndall, among others.
It will take place this Thursday at the CIFEA in Jumilla at 5:00 pm and to participate it will be necessary to register in advance in the Department of Youth (Plaza del Rey D. Pedro, 9-low) or in663201941.
There will be a new session the next day, but in this case for the students of IES Infanta Elena.
