Two structures have been installed on the Los Almendros de Jumilla mountain for the installation of primillares with the objective of providing nesting alternatives to the Lesser Kestrel.
It is one of the most endangered species of Murcia fauna, since it is currently classified as endangered.
The works have cost 9,045.45 euros and have been carried out by the company Construcciones Euloman.
20 separate nests have been placed in two reinforced concrete structures 9 meters high crowned with a trellis base.
The nests used are special for outdoor, made of waterproof material, resistant to defecations.
They have a step, a fall prevention and anti-catchment corridor, as well as ventilation elements for the cabin and the substrate, two access registers for control of putting and marking of chickens, as well as a wide-angle peephole.
