Two students of the Higher Grade Vocational Training Cycle 'Viticulture Technician' of the Integrated Training Center and Agricultural Experiences (Cifea) of Jumilla, have participated in the 'Young Wine Professionals Contest', within the activities developed in the International Exhibition of Agriculture, recently celebrated in Paris.
In this activity, the students faced two tests of blind tasting of wines in which they had to identify the variety, area of origin, vintage and price of French wines, as well as assess their quality by assigning scores.
The fair was held this year under the slogan 'The agriculture of women, men and talents', and the Cifea de Jumilla took advantage of this international meeting of the agricultural and livestock sector to present some of the quality products of the area, such such as extra virgin olive oil, cheeses, sausages and typical Jumilla sweets, which competed in a European buffet with other products from the rest of the participating delegations, from countries such as Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland and Croatia, among others.
