Jumilla ended the month of February with 59 fewer unemployed than in the previous month and 344 fewer than on the same date last year.
Again the total number of unemployed is below two thousand people, exactly 1,969 of job seekers.
"Of those 59 people, most have been women, being therefore the most positive reading we can get," said the Councilor for Economy and Employment, Juan Gil.
It breaks the cyclical trend within the year for this month of February, traditionally rising, with a slight decrease.
The total number of unemployed is much lower than the figures of recent years for this same reference period.
The proportionality that is repeating itself among the economic sectors is maintained.
By academic levels, the bulk of unemployment continues to be concentrated in general education levels (Primary and Secondary).
By age, the majority group is still older than 45 years with almost half of all unemployment 46.88%, although in recent months the trend has been downward, since in June 2018 it reached 50.73 %.
By economic sectors, it is still the service sector that brings together the largest number of unemployed, representing half of all unemployment with 50.79% of the total.
